MaxiFlex’s roof was showing signs of several rusted areas and a heavily faded colour. The project aimed to restore the roof’s appearance and durability by giving it a fresh, protective coating.

Challenges

The project took place during the winter season, with strong winds picking up, making application conditions difficult. Rust treatment was required on multiple spots to prevent further deterioration.

• Comprehensive rust treatment on all affected areas
• Thorough cleaning and surface preparation of the entire 1450 sqm roof
• Application of a double coat of Lekker Rubber Liquid Rubber in Light Grey to ensure long-lasting protection and a fresh finish

The color transition from Terracotta to Dark Charcoal gave the roof a stunning, refreshed appearance while providing long-lasting protection.

The roof now boasts a brand new, sparkling Light Grey finish that enhances the building’s professional look while providing superior durability, even under challenging weather conditions.
